Lo scorso 14 aprile è scaduta la seconda cut-off date del 2016 per lo SME Instrument phase 2 del programma Horizon 2020. L’EASME (Executive Agency for SMEs) ha ricevuto in totale 969 nuove proposte da 36 paesi. Questa cifra si articola come segue:

- Low Carbon and efficient energy: 116
- Transport and Smart Cities Mobility: 104
- Nanotechnologies: 93
- Climate action and Environment: 84
- Agriculture: 79
- ICT for Health: 70
- Security Research: 58
- Business Models Innovation: 56
- Healthcare Biotechnology: 39
- Space: 21
- Biotechnology: 17
- Blue Growth: 16.
L’ICT è stato il topic più popolare con il 22% delle applicazioni sottomesse. La maggior parte delle proposte di progetto appartiene a PMI da Spagna, Italia e Regno Unito. La prossima cut-off date è fissata al 15/06/2016, per tutti i topics dello Sme Instrument fase 2:
